Bud believes Dodd is ready for the challenge

Jayden Sullivan, who has been filling in at various positions for the injury-hit South Sydney Rabbitohs, has urged Lewis Dodd to make the most of his opportunity if called up for the upcoming game in Perth.

Despite being unexpectedly moved to halfback early in the match against the Sydney Roosters, Sullivan was able to make an impact with the help of assistant coach Ben Hornby's advice.

Sullivan, a talented playmaker at the junior level, found himself in unfamiliar positions like centre and backrow at the start of the season.

However, he stepped up to the challenge when he was suddenly asked to play halfback against the Roosters.

Despite a rocky start which included missing a tackle that led to the first try by the Roosters, Sullivan was able to bounce back and make a positive impact on the game.

"I've been in his shoes coming through the grades where if you get an opportunity you just have to take it with both hands.

He's put his hand up like I have in the past and it's good to see," Sullivan said in support of Dodd potentially stepping up for the team in their time of need.

Sullivan's ability to adapt and perform under pressure serves as inspiration for Dodd to do the same if given the chance to showcase his skills on the field.

Despite facing challenges and setbacks during the game against the Roosters, Sullivan's determination and resilience allowed him to make a significant contribution to his team's success.

Sullivan's example highlights the importance of being prepared to seize opportunities and make the most of them, regardless of the circumstances.

Bud backs Dodd to step up for injury-hit Souths, following his own journey of overcoming challenges and adversity to make a positive impact on the team.

The encouragement and support from Sullivan and the coaching staff can help Dodd rise to the occasion and shine in the upcoming game.
