The Brisbane Broncos have signed on Troy Thomson, a seasoned veteran in the world of Rugby League, as their new NRL Football Operations Manager.
With over two decades of experience in various roles across the NRL, including stints with the Melbourne Storm, South Sydney Rabbitohs, and the Queensland State of Origin team, Thomson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Broncos.
Currently, Thomson is with the Australian Kangaroos, but will be making the switch to the Broncos at the end of the month once he wraps up his duties with the national team.
This move comes as current Football Manager, Joe McDermott, has decided to part ways with the club ahead of the 2025 pre-season.
McDermott originally joined the Broncos back in 2023, but now it's time for a new era under Thomson's guidance.
With Thomson at the helm, the Broncos look to strengthen their football operations and take the team to new heights.
His experience and dedication to the game are sure to benefit the club as they strive for success on the field.
