The Broncos NRLW team is set to kick off its 2025 season against the Wests Tigers at Totally Workwear Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Notably, co-captain Tamika Upton will play her first game for the club in five years, taking the fullback position.
Another significant addition is Kerri Johnson, a New Zealand rugby union convert, who will be making her NRLW debut on the wing in just her second rugby league game.
Young talent Shalom Sauaso is also debuting off the bench following an impressive performance in a trial match against the PNG Blossoming Orchids.
Additionally, Tara McGrath-West, who joined the Broncos from the Dragons after 13 games, will debut in the second row.
The team sees a reshuffle in the back line, with Hayley Maddick positioned on the wing and Julia Robinson taking a spot in the centres.
