The Brisbane Broncos have launched their Women in League Round with a special event at the Calile Hotel.
Players Cory Paix and Kobe Hetherington attended the celebration before departing for Sydney, where they will face the South Sydney Rabbitohs in their round ten game at Accor Stadium.
During the event, Paix shared an emotional tribute to the significant influence of his wife, Keely, stating, "I could barely hold back tears" as he reflected on her impact on his life.
He also recognized his mother, acknowledging the sacrifices she made to help him succeed in his rugby league career.
