Broncos Hops Across Rivalry Tunnel: Bunny Double Agents

As the Brisbane Broncos prepare to enter the battleground of their first trial match, they have made an intriguing move by adding two former South Sydney Rabbitohs players to their team list.

Josiah Karapani, a talented centre, and Ethan O'Neill, a formidable second-rower, have both found themselves in the Broncos' squad after spending time with the Rabbitohs Top 30 and NSW Cup squad last season.

While there is room for them to secure a promotion to the Top 30 roster, it is understood that they are currently on a QLD Cup contract, much like the experienced Kurt Falls who previously played for the Panthers.

Hailing from rugby league-rich New Zealand, Karapani caught the attention of the Broncos' officials during his standout performances in the Jersey Flegg Cup, earning him a spot in the coveted Top 30 roster.

Although he has yet to make his NRL debut, Karapani showcased his attacking prowess in the NSW Cup, scoring seven tries and providing three try assists.

Moreover, his explosive speed allowed him to register eight line breaks while clocking an impressive average of 123 running meters per game.

With their inclusion, the Broncos hope that these former Rabbitohs duo will add firepower to their squad and contribute to their quest for success in the upcoming season.
