In a disappointing match at Totally Workwear Stadium, the Canberra Raiders suffered a 40-8 loss to the Brisbane Broncos.

The Raiders started strong, with Jessica Gentle scoring the team's first try in the fourth minute, putting them ahead 4-0.

Cheyelle Robins-Reti extended their lead in the 11th minute, capitalizing on a great kick from halfback Ash Quinlan.

However, the Broncos quickly responded in the 19th minute, as Shenae Ciesiolka scored a try following an impressive linebreak from Ali Brigginshaw.

With Brigginshaw's successful conversion, the scores were now in favor of the Raiders at 8-6.

The momentum shifted in the Broncos' favor in the 27th minute, when Julia Robinson scored a try on the wing.

Despite the unsuccessful conversions, the Broncos managed to take a narrow lead of 10-8 heading into halftime.

Unfortunately for the Raiders, the second half proved to be a struggle.

The Broncos dominated the game, scoring several unanswered tries and converting successfully.

The Raiders' defense was unable to contain the Broncos' relentless attacks, resulting in a disappointing final scoreline of 40-8 in favor of the Broncos.

This loss marks a setback for the Raiders in the NRLW round six clash.

They will need to regroup and analyze their performance in order to bounce back in future matches.

The Broncos, on the other hand, can take confidence from their victory and build on their strong performance moving forward in the season.
