The Brisbane Broncos are facing a dilemma regarding their halves as captain Adam Reynolds is reportedly set to return for the club's preliminary final.
Having recently triumphed over the Canberra Raiders, the Broncos will enjoy a week off as they gear up for the third week of the 2025 NRL Finals series, inching closer to their first grand final appearance since 2023.
Next week, they are set to meet either the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs or the Penrith Panthers, and Reynolds' clearance to play, as noted by The Courier-Mail, adds an exciting dimension to the match.
This situation, however, poses a challenge for coach Michael Maguire. Ben Hunt has made a significant impact while wearing the No. 7 jersey, even kicking the decisive field goal that led the team to victory on Sunday.
Despite this success, the seasoned 353-game NRL veteran has expressed his willingness to adapt to accommodate Reynolds. "If 'Reyno' is fit, he has to come back into the side," Hunt stated. "There's no doubt about it for me. I will happily step aside for him. He is the captain, and he is the little general, and you talk about field goals, he doesn't miss them."
