Broncos Face Backline Disruptions Early On

Brisbane Broncos are facing another setback in their title defense, with significant changes looming in the backline due to injuries and off-field issues.

Winger Grant Anderson is anticipated to be sidelined for 10 to 12 weeks as he recovers from an MCL rupture along with a tibial plateau fracture.

The Melbourne recruit will have to endure watching from the sidelines for an extended period, as AAP highlights the severity of the injury impacting the Broncos flank.

In addition, Josiah Karapani has reportedly been banned from the popular Fortitude Valley nightlife district due to allegations of being a public nuisance.

ABC News has disclosed that Karapani received a banning notice in the early hours of the previous Saturday.

He was issued an on-the-spot fine and instructed to leave after complaints surfaced regarding a disturbance involving a group; however, the extent of Karapani's involvement remains unclear.

The NRL integrity unit has been alerted to the situation and is currently conducting an investigation.

Meanwhile, it appears that Jesse Arthurs will be given the opportunity to rejoin the squad to fill Anderson's position, having recently fallen down the team's hierarchy.

This week, the Broncos are set to travel down the Pacific Motorway to take on the Gold Coast Titans.
