The Brisbane Broncos quickly returned to Brisbane following their victory over the Sydney Roosters to avoid Cyclone Alfred.
The team chartered a flight from Sydney and arrived at Wellcamp Airport in Toowoomba before making their way to Brisbane by bus.
Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy expressed gratitude towards Wellcamp Airport for facilitating their return, as well as the NRL, broadcasters, and the Roosters for ensuring a quick departure from the stadium.
Donaghy emphasized that the safety and wellbeing of the team were paramount.
