Broncos bid adieu to Flegler, Farnworth, Palasia: NRL's loss?

Three promising young talents, Keenan Palasia, Herbie Farnworth, and Thomas Flegler, kick-started their NRL journeys with the Broncos academy.

Their hard work and dedication paid off when they made their debut games in 2019.

The Broncos take great pride in nurturing and molding these individuals into exceptional players.

However, as the 2024 season approaches, the Broncos bid farewell to Flegler, Farnworth, and Palasia as they continue their careers with Redcliffe and the Gold Coast.

Their departure will undoubtedly leave a void in the team and they will be greatly missed.

Thomas Flegler's NRL career began with a clash against the formidable Melbourne Storm, and he quickly established himself as a formidable player.

With 96 professional appearances and five tries, Flegler had a standout season in 2023 with impressive statistics.

His tackling efficiency was an astonishing 94%, with 485 tackles, 52 tackle breaks, and an impressive 2419 running meters.

Keenan Palasia made his Broncos debut in a memorable match against the Sharks, contributing to the team's victory.

In his final season with the Broncos, Palasia played a crucial role in guiding the club to the Grand Final.

With a tackling efficiency of 94%, he showcased his skills with 410 tackles, seven offloads, and an impressive 800 post-contact meters.

Herbie Farnworth, alongside Palasia and other young talents, made his debut with the Broncos.

Starting off as a winger, Farnworth displayed his versatility and growing prowess in the center position.

In the 2023 season, he excelled as an offensive force, scoring an impressive 15 tries, 136 tackle breaks, 16 line breaks, and a remarkable 4376 total running meters.

Since joining the Broncos, these three players have not only showcased their skills on the field but have also brought a lively and joyful energy to the club.

Their departure will undoubtedly be felt by both teammates and fans alike.
