The Brisbane Broncos and South Sydney Rabbitohs have faced a tough season in the NRL, with injuries plaguing their top players.

Reece Walsh and Latrell Mitchell, two of the league's top fullbacks, have had their skills tested as they try to lead their teams through a challenging period.

The injury woes for both clubs have been well-documented, with NRL Physio 'Brien Seeney' shedding light on just how many games were lost due to injuries.

The Rabbitohs topped the list with a staggering 213 games missed, closely followed by the Warriors and Broncos at 140 and 138 respectively.

It's no surprise that these three teams failed to secure a finals spot in 2024.

On the flip side, teams like the Bulldogs, Cowboys, and Storm have shown great resilience in the face of adversity, making it to the top eight despite significant injury setbacks.

The Storm, in particular, were able to finish as minor premiers despite the challenges they faced.

In contrast, the Panthers had a relatively injury-free season, with only 69 games missed, while the Knights and Sharks also managed to keep injuries at bay with 69 and 80 games missed respectively.

Overall, it's been a tough season for the Broncos and Rabbitohs, but they'll need to regroup and come back stronger next season.

As they say in the world of sports, it's not about how many times you get knocked down, but how many times you get back up.
