After serving time for his part in a $154 million cocaine bust, former Bronco player Jamil Hopoate has been released from prison and is now living with his father, John.

The 29-year-old received a prison sentence of at least two years and three months in 2022 for his involvement in a major drug importation operation, where he worked as a courier.

Hopoate admitted to struggling with drug, alcohol, and gambling addictions at the time of his arrest.

Following his release, John Hopoate, known for his own controversial rugby league career, shared that his son is now residing with him.

Jamil has been reconnecting with his two children and long-term partner, Shae Beathe, with the family recently enjoying a trip around Sydney together.

In a touching Father's Day tribute on Instagram, Beathe expressed her gratitude and love for Jamil, calling him their guy and celebrating their bond on their vacation.
