St Helens have signed 11 players for 2027 but are already over Super League's limit of 10 overseas players, as are several other clubs.
The club is reportedly 'keen' to recruit Brisbane Broncos forward Jack Gosiewski for that season, potentially reuniting him with coach Kevin Walters.
Code Sports reports Gosiewski is seeking a contract and remains optimistic about playing in 2027. Brisbane are open to extending his deal by a year.
Gosiewski has played 101 NRL games, meeting visa criteria based on his recent appearances for the Broncos. A move would make St Helens his sixth club since his 2016 debut.
St Helens have also hired Australian Kangaroos coach Walters and signed Sean O'Sullivan, Solomone Faatape and Tom Starling. Christian Tuipulotu is expected to join after spending last season with St George Illawarra.
Their former NRL players include Jacob Host, David Klemmer, Nene Macdonald, Tristan Sailor and Curtis Sironen. Love Rugby League reports Wright has been offered to rival clubs for next season.
