Blake Mozer has made 16 NRL appearances since his 2023 debut, with injuries and concussion setbacks disrupting his development at Brisbane.
Reports this week suggested the 22-year-old could leave immediately after receiving permission to explore other options, but the Broncos say they are not trying to push him out.
Brisbane executive football boss Troy Thomson told the Courier Mail: "There's a future for Blake at the Broncos, definitely,"
Thomson added: "Blake is a free agent from November 1, but he is still contracted to us for next year and we are happy to honour that deal."
Coach Michael Maguire also told the Courier Mail: "I definitely do see a future for him here."
The club says Mozer's management, rather than Brisbane, has been seeking options elsewhere.
A product of Keebra Park High School, Mozer once drew comparisons with Cameron Smith, but faces competition from Cory Paix, Billy Walters, Ben Hunt and recently debuted Cameron Bukowski.
Brisbane had considered releasing him during the season, with possible moves to Canterbury or St Helens discussed before the June 30 deadline.
Neither move happened, and the Broncos say Mozer will have every opportunity to establish himself at the club.
