Rugby League icon Brad Fittler has been tackled by fans after a controversial remark during an interview with Jessica and Noamie Fox
The Blues legend left the gold medal-winning sisters feeling uneasy.
NRL hero Brad Fittler is facing flak from fans after suggesting he wanted the spotlight on him during a chat with Jessica and Noamie Fox on Friday night.
The Fox sisters, who both won gold medals at the Paris Olympics, are huge Penrith Panthers fans and were special guests at their team's game against Souths on Friday night.
But things got a bit rough during a pre-game chat with Fittler when he made some questionable comments.
At the start of the interview with the Fox sisters, the former Panthers and Roosters player said: "Just wanted the Kiss Cam to come on...On me."
Jessica Fox was visibly thrown by the remark and turned away from Fittler, who quickly clarified "it's not happening." Noamie chuckled at the comment and continued with the interview, but the sisters were clearly caught off guard by the unexpected play.
Viewers at home were also stunned by Fittler's move, labeling it "disgusting" and "gross".
One fan on social media said: "That was absolutely disgusting comment by Brad Fittler when interviewing the Fox sisters.
When he commented about the kiss cam, was pure misogyny and disrespectful to these wonderful women.
SHAME SHAME SHAME.
Be Better."
