Rowing in the same direction: Boyd backs building momentum

Warriors halfback Tanah Boyd is approaching the final stages of the season with a newfound maturity and contentment in his life outside of football. As the team gears up for the finals, Boyd is prepared to meet the upcoming challenges head-on.

Following a 32-18 victory over his former team, the Titans, Boyd emphasized the team's intent to build momentum with the ultimate goal of securing a premiership for New Zealand.

Off the field, Boyd and his partner Jacqueline celebrated the birth of their first child, Ardie, in September last year. This new addition to their family has provided him with perspective, especially after he previously felt overwhelmed by the noise of the NRL early in his career.

Boyd has stepped up since replacing injured Luke Metcalf in Round 19, forming a strong partnership with five-eighth Chanel Harris-Tavita. Their collaboration drew praise from coach Andrew Webster, particularly for their performance against the Titans.

For Boyd, the belief fostered by his coach and the established systems within the club have been instrumental in his mental and on-field development, especially with the NSW Cup team already clinching the minor premiership.
