James Tedesco is backing the Roosters' young talent to sustain their premiership success after several senior players left the club.
Spencer Leniu is joining Parramatta, Angus Crichton and Mark Nawaqanitawase are moving to rugby, Connor Watson is heading to St George Illawarra, and Daniel Tupou is retiring.
The Roosters farewelled six players at their Jack Gibson Medal event during the week. Manly premiership-winning coach Des Hasler made a surprise appearance and praised England-bound Daly Cherry-Evans.
Tedesco, who turns 34 in the new year, has no plans to follow his premiership-winning teammates into retirement or other opportunities.
He remains in top form, having won the Clive Churchill Medal after the Roosters' grand final victory over Newcastle. Younger Australian teammates, including Reece Walsh, also praised his performances.
Tedesco hopes to meet with the Roosters after the World Cup to discuss playing one final season in 2028.
