The Wests Tigers website is buzzing with the latest from the NRL Round 9 clash against the Bulldogs.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs came out on top with a 22-14 victory at Accor Stadium in a Saturday afternoon showdown.

The Tigers got off to a strong start with an early penalty goal from Aidan Sezer, setting the tone for the game.

Shortly after, Charlie Staines finished off a brilliant line-break from Brent Naden to score the first try of the match.

Naden, known as the Forbes Ferrari, showcased his lightning speed as he sprinted down the right touchline to put the Tigers ahead.

The Bulldogs didn't stay quiet for long, with Kurt Mann crossing the try line after 22 minutes to keep the game close.

However, the Tigers responded with Fonua Pole crashing over for a try off a perfect pass from Jake Simpkin, maintaining a 14-6 lead going into halftime.

After the break, Canterbury came out swinging as Josh Curran pounced on a Drew Hutchison grubber to score, followed by two penalty goals from Matt Burton to take the lead.

A slick linebreak from Burton set up Bronson Xerri for the Bulldogs' third try, with the conversion extending their lead to 22-14 by the 57th minute.

It was a tough battle on the field, but the Bulldogs proved too strong for the Tigers in the end.

The Tigers fought hard, but the Bulldogs managed to hold onto their lead and secure the win in a thrilling Round 9 matchup.
