Dragon's skipper Ben Hunt has revealed Zac Lomax's desire to leave the club, despite a recent request for release being denied.
The team's season got off to a rocky start with a win over Gold Coast, followed by a heavy defeat to the Dolphins.
Coach Shane Flanagan has been experimenting with Lomax's position on the wing, a move that has not sat well with the player who prefers to play in the centres.
Lomax, 24, had sought a transfer before the season began, sparking rumors of interest from Parramatta.
However, Hunt, who has had his own share of off-field issues, confirmed that his mate is still keen on finding a new home where he can shine in his preferred position.
