Craig Bellamy has spilled the beans on Cameron Munster's injury woes amidst some not-so-pretty scenes at Melbourne Storm.

The elusive playmaker is not a sure bet to hit the field, leaving everyone scratching their heads at the club.

Despite this, Bellamy remains hopeful that his star No.6 will don the jersey against the Broncos in a titanic clash on Thursday night at AAMI Park.

With a stellar record of undefeated home wins against Brisbane in the past eight years, the Storm will be banking on Munster's fitness to keep the streak alive against Kevin Walters' squad.

The Queensland and Australia representative has been battling a troublesome groin and hip issue, keeping the club's medical staff on their toes.

One day he's fine in training, the next he's feeling the pinch.

Bellamy, speaking ahead of the game, emphasized that Munster's availability will hinge on his condition come game day.

Named in the halves alongside the returning Jahrome Hughes, there is a glimmer of hope that Munster will take the field.

However, Bellamy cautioned against expecting miracles from the talented playmaker on the night.

"There's a pretty good chance he'll make the cut," Bellamy disclosed.

"The injury has been a bit of a head-scratcher, with good days and bad days for him.

We've seen some positive signs in training this week, so fingers crossed he pulls up well tomorrow.

We'll just take it as it comes and see how he goes."
