Dally M Medal Wrap: Early Leaders in the Race
As the race for the prestigious Dally M Medal heats up, Roosters superstar Isabelle Kelly has emerged as the frontrunner.
According to nrl.com.au, Kelly excelled in Round 2 against the Dragons, amassing 198 metres and breaking six tackles, which earned her four Dally M votes in addition to the five she secured in the season's opening round.
Following closely behind is Julia Robinson, another standout from the Jillaroos, who delivered an impressive performance against the Titans.
Robinson recorded 180 run metres, a line break, one try assist, and a try, contributing to her team's commanding 44-8 victory.
She was among four players who received the maximum six votes in Round 2, alongside Cronulla's Emma Verran, Roosters forward Otesa Pule, and Warriors fullback Apii Nicholls.
As the season progresses, fans will be keen to see if Kelly can maintain her lead or if Robinson and others will close the gap.
The competition among these talented outside backs sets an exciting tone for the rest of the season.
