In a display of raw talent and determination, the next generation of Roosters took center stage on Friday night, as they delivered a resounding 46-10 victory over their arch-rivals, the Rabbitohs.

With the NRL squads already preparing for the season opener in Las Vegas, it was the NSW Cup players who had the golden opportunity to make their mark on the field.

Led by the impressive Joseph Taipari, the Roosters showed great composure and skill, showcasing their potential in front of reserve grade coach Brett Morris.

The forwards, Corey Ross and Salesi Foketi, displayed dominance and assertiveness, laying the foundation for their team's triumph.

The Roosters wasted no time in making an impact, as Fijian forward Meli Nasau crashed over the try line just four minutes into the match, following a seamless left side shift.

However, the Rabbitohs fought back, taking advantage of a dangerous tackle, and Matt French powered his way over to narrow the scoreline to 6-4.

Undeterred, the Roosters responded swiftly in the 17th minute, with Turoa Williams scoring a try on the right edge, thanks to the impressive lead-up work by Taipari and center Ethan Clark-Wood.
