The World Cup begins October 15 in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
The ARLC confirmed both Prime Minister's XIII teams will face Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby on October 3.
The games fall one day before the NRL and NRLW grand final, with World Cup squads due the following Monday.
The men's squad includes William Kennedy, Jojo Fifita, Jaxon Purdue, Nick Meaney, Braidon Burns, Ezra Mam, Lachlan Galvin, Toby Couchman, Billy Walters and Josh Curran.
Ryan Couchman, David Fifita (captain), Kurt Mann, Tallyn Da Silva and Owen Pattie are also selected.
Nathan Brown, Tom Chester, Jock Madden, Josh Kerr and Hamish Stewart complete the lineup.
Jojo Fifita, Toby Couchman, David Fifita and Hamish Stewart are understood to be among the unannounced 40-player extended World Cup squad.
Parramatta and St George Illawarra each provide six players to the women's 20-player team; Cronulla contributes four.
