Australia wary of Fiji's World Cup run

Four Tigers named in Fiji World Cup squad

Fiji's Bulikula have reached the World Cup semi-finals in their tournament debut, setting up a clash with Australia for a place in the final.

The game pits Sydney Roosters teammates Tarryn Aiken and Taina Naividi against each other, a year after both tore ACLs and watched their club lose the NRLW grand final.

After recovering side by side, they shared club success this season. Aiken said: "We've got a good relationship, we've been through it together with the knees,"

Aiken, an established NRLW star before joining the Roosters, said coach John Strange spotted Naividi when she was unsigned.

"She came in the last week of pre-season a few years ago and she's just killed it ever since."

Aiken praised Naividi's World Cup form and said she knew how much representing Fiji meant to her.

Australia coach Jess Skinner warned that Fiji's strong campaign and victory over New Zealand had put other teams on notice.

"They're dangerous, they play expansive, quick footy."
