Aussie rapper Briggs has made the decision to sever ties with the Melbourne Storm, expressing his disappointment with the club's actions.

This comes after it was revealed that Brett Ralph, a member of the club's board of directors, had contributed significantly to the 'No' vote campaign during the Indigenous Voice to Parliament referendum.

According to The Age, Ralph donated $75,000 to the campaign, despite the Melbourne Storm publicly supporting the proposal.

Briggs, also known as Adam Briggs, gained attention earlier this month for his viral video explaining the meaning behind the 'Yes' vote.

The NRL had previously joined forces with 19 other national sporting bodies to publicly support the Indigenous Voice to Parliament.

The donations made by Ralph, who holds a 20% stake in the team, were disclosed in September, prompting Briggs to voice his concerns to Storm CEO Justin Rodski.
