Jai Arrow has made a heartfelt comeback to the NRL, walking through a guard of honour ahead of his 99th match with the Rabbitohs.
This year, Arrow touched the hearts of fans worldwide after announcing his diagnosis of motor neurone disease (MND).
His playing career was initially thought to be over until Saturday's match between the Rabbitohs and the Titans, the team where he previously played 56 games after starting his career at the Broncos.
The emotional moment began as Arrow entered to a performance of 'You'll Never Walk Alone,' a song associated with Liverpool Football Club in the English Premier League.
After receiving support from both teammates and fans, the game began, and he was called to exit shortly after.
In a lighthearted turn, the former Origin player jokingly dismissed Cameron Murray, who was ready to step in, sharing a laugh with Walker before leaving the field.
It was fitting that Murray, who replaced Arrow, scored the first try, as the Rabbitohs united in support of their teammate, leading 28-6 at halftime.
Arrow shared an emotional moment with close friend and five-eighth Cody Walker at the center of the field before taking a seat on the bench.
