Andie Robinson has made a remarkable return to the field, being recognized with Canterbury's inaugural NRLW Player of the Year award. As reported by bulldogs.com.au, Robinson, who has participated in every NRLW game for the Bulldogs this season, will play fullback against the Eels at CommBank Stadium on Friday night.

The former Under-19s Blues representative faced one of the toughest challenges of her career after suffering a meniscus tear in the 2023 season. Initially expected to be out for just four months, her recovery turned into an arduous 18-month journey, causing her to miss the entire 2024 season while with the Cronulla Sharks. Robinson reflected on this difficult phase, sharing her struggles and experiences with the injury.

During her rehabilitation, Robinson expressed gratitude for the support she received from her family and friends, as well as the dedication of the physios who helped her cope with such a trying time. She admitted, "It was an extremely challenging time in my life." Despite the setbacks, Robinson's perseverance has positioned her for significant achievements in the NRLW.
