In a move that will surely bolster their roster, the St George Illawarra Dragons have announced the signing of Corey Allan on a one-year contract.
Allan, a former one-time Queensland State of Origin representative, spent the 2023 season with the Sydney Roosters after a surprising switch from the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Under the guidance of Trent Robinson, Allan managed to feature in 12 games for the Roosters before it was confirmed during the club's end-of-season presentation night that he would be leaving.
However, this new contract secures his place in the NRL for at least another year.
With these 12 games, Allan's NRL tally now stands at an impressive 62, including a stint with the South Sydney Rabbitohs from 2019-2020 and another with the Bulldogs from 2021-2022.
Hailing from Brisbane, Allan's rugby league journey began in the Broncos junior pathways, where he honed his skills as a young player at the Logan Brothers club.
