Jillaroos captain Ali Briginshaw has witnessed the remarkable growth of women's rugby league in Australia, attributing much of it to the inception of the NRLW in 2018.
The professionalization of the league has propelled Australia to the pinnacle of female rugby, with Briginshaw noting the country's status as the best in the world.
The women's origin series also saw a surge in popularity last year, with the Jillaroos dominating England 90-4 in a match aimed at appealing to a wider audience.
Briginshaw spoke of her delight at the overwhelming support for female rugby league, particularly during the team's Las Vegas moment: "The support from everyone in the streets (has been unbelievable)."
