Michael Goes From the Air Force to the Business of Footy

Michael spent 20 years in the Air Force before transitioning to the business of rugby league.

He proudly represented the Philippines in international rugby league and is now the President of the Philippines National Rugby League Association in Australia.

A lifelong Brisbane Broncos fan, Michael discovered the Brisbane Broncos Sport Business Institute (BBSBI) on the team's website.

The BBSBI, part of TAFE Queensland's Academy of Sport and delivered in partnership with the Brisbane Broncos, offered Michael the perfect opportunity to study for a career in sports that aligned with his passion.

Through the BBSBI, Michael now studies at the Brisbane Broncos' Red Hill headquarters, learning about community leadership through sport.

The program provides him with an opportunity to combine his love of rugby league with his desire for a career in the sports industry.

Michael's military background and experience leading teams in the Air Force have prepared him well for this new path in sports business.

Michael's journey from the Air Force to the sports industry highlights his passion for rugby league and community leadership.

By pursuing his studies at the BBSBI, he is able to combine his love for the game with his desire for a rewarding career in the sports business.

As Michael continues to immerse himself in the world of rugby league and sports management, his military background and leadership skills will no doubt serve him well in this new endeavor.

Through his dedication and passion for the game, Michael is making a successful transition from the Air Force to the business of footy.
