The Glebe Dirty Reds had a tough day on Saturday, suffering a heavy defeat of 52-0 against St Marys in the Ron Massey Cup Preliminary Final.
St Marys got off to a strong start, with Jake Tago scoring a try after just six minutes to give his team the early lead.
After a scoreless period of 10 minutes, St Marys added to their tally with a try from Steven Tavita, followed by another three minutes later from Anthony Layoun.
The home team continued their dominance, scoring two more tries through Antonio Tauiliili Pelesasa and Anton Iaria before half time, giving them a commanding 30-0 lead.
In the second half, St Marys wasted no time in extending their lead, with Tago scoring his second try just two minutes into the half.
Winger Christian Crichton also got in on the action, crossing the line six minutes later to further solidify St Marys' lead.
