Josh Addo-Carr's future at Parramatta is uncertain after an alleged positive cocaine indication during a random roadside test in Newtown.
The winger was stopped on Enmore Road on Friday night, with his saliva sample sent for additional analysis.
His management company, Crown Sports International, has urged Parramatta not to end his contract.
The firm said the Kangaroos representative would do whatever was necessary to regain the confidence of those around him.
"Josh is not perfect, and he has made mistakes," Crown Sports International said in a statement.
Addo-Carr previously lost his Canterbury contract after allegedly returning a positive roadside test while playing for the Bulldogs in 2024.
