The Bulldogs will definitely start the season with Matt Burton and Lachlan Galvin as their halves combination. However, I foresee this partnership coming under scrutiny very quickly, likely after the first poor performance by either player.

Galvin appears to be a natural five-eighth, while Burton's strengths lie in his ability as a center with a powerful kicking game. He's capable of adding value as a kicker when necessary on the last tackle.
