The NRL has officially locked in the dates for the 2025 Magic Round extravaganza, following hot on the heels of the announcement of the 2025 State of Origin schedule earlier this week.
It's been confirmed that the Women's State of Origin series opener will kick off the four-day NRL Magic Round carnival, with dates set for Thursday, May 1, through Sunday, May 4.
While the teams set to battle it out in the annual Queensland showdown are still up in the air, one thing's for certain - it's going to be two weeks later than last year's Magic Round and likely falling on Round 9 of the season.
This update comes hot on the heels of the NRL dropping the Round 1 fixtures for the upcoming 2025 season.
We already knew that the Canberra Raiders would be taking on the New Zealand Warriors, and the Penrith Panthers would be facing off against the Cronulla Sharks in this year's Las Vegas clashes, but now the remaining teams' first-round foes have been confirmed as well.
So gear up, footy fans, because it's going to be an action-packed season with the Magic Round serving as the ultimate footy fiesta to get us all pumped and excited for what's to come.
