The Titans' halves situation may have just been sorted out thanks to a bit of bad luck for NRL veteran Kieran Foran.

The old pro is on shaky ground for Round 1 after copping an injury during the final bout of the NRL Pre-Season Challenge.

Foran, who was gunning for a spot in the starting lineup in the Titans' halves, was taken out of the game against the Dolphins.

The whispers are saying it might be his upper forearm or bicep that's causing him grief, putting a question mark over his availability for the season kick-off.

"He's getting looked at in the sheds and the Titans aren't jumping the gun on whether it's his upper forearm or bicep that's the issue," shared sideline commentator Jake Duke from Fox Sports.

"The silver lining is he can still move his arm a bit, so fingers crossed for good news, but it's all up in the air for now."
