Retired NRL forward Zane Tetevano is in the news for serious legal issues just a year after ending his rugby league career.
According to reports from zerotackle.com, Tetevano is facing significant criminal charges and will be sentenced at Wyong court next month.
Additionally, he will attend a court hearing regarding an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) the day after his sentencing.
Tetevano retired after a 13-season career, during which he played 170 matches across both the NRL and Super League.
He made his debut in 2011 with the Newcastle Knights, continuing his career with the Sydney Roosters (2017-19), Penrith Panthers (2020), and Leeds Rhinos (2021-23).
Throughout his time on the field, he scored six tries for a total of 24 points.
Internationally, Tetevano represented the Cook Islands in ten matches and played three Tests for the New Zealand Kiwis.
