Shane Flanagan grateful Zac Lomax drama sorted early in the season

Coaches despise when all the attention is on one player, especially when it involves potential club switches.

St George Illawarra Dragons coach, Shane Flanagan, is relieved that Zac Lomax's future with the team is now settled, with news outlets confirming his move to the Eels next year.

Last week, Flanagan was visibly frustrated with the constant questioning about Lomax's intentions, but now that the young star has signed a four-year deal with Parramatta, all parties involved can breathe a sigh of relief.

Lomax has assured his complete dedication to the Dragons, and Flanagan is confident that the ongoing speculation hasn't affected the team's focus on their upcoming game against the Warriors.

Flanagan made it known that Lomax is not the only player who may be departing next season, but for now, the team is fully focused on their next match.

Despite the external distractions, Flanagan commended Lomax for his outstanding form on the field and is hopeful that the issue is now resolved.

With the drama put to rest, the Dragons can now concentrate on their next challenge with a clear mind and a determined spirit.
