A swathe of rising stars in the rugby league world were lauded by Wests Tigers at their recent Junior Representative Awards ceremony, held alongside a thrilling triple-header at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Sunday.

In a nod to the club's strong development pathways, over 240 players across eight teams were celebrated for their hard work and achievements.

Despite falling short in their respective grand finals, the Wests Magpies Harold Matthews (U/17s), Wests Tigers Lisa Fiaola Cup (U/17s), and Macarthur Wests Tigers Andrew Johns Cup (U/16s) teams showed immense promise.

A number of these talented youngsters have already made their mark in senior squads, including the NRL, NSW Cup, Jersey Flegg, NRLW, and NSW Women's Premiership teams.

This seamless transition from junior reps to senior level is testament to the club's commitment to nurturing talent.

The Macarthur Wests Tigers Andrew Johns Cup outfit had an exceptional season in 2024, narrowly missing out on the title to the Central Coast Roosters.

The team's powerhouse lock forward, Kye Penfold, was a standout performer, earning two well-deserved accolades for his contributions on the field.

As the next generation of rugby league stars continue to rise through the ranks, Wests Tigers are proud to recognize and support their journey towards sporting greatness.
