The Sydney Roosters SG Ball team put up a brave fight in their semi-final clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, according to a report on roosters.com.au.

After sitting out for two weeks, the Roosters were narrowly defeated in a thrilling match that saw them just miss out on a victory.

Despite their outstanding regular season performance that earned them the Minor Premiership, they fell short by just one try at the final whistle.

The Roosters organization commended all involved in the 2024 SG Ball team for their stellar season.

Despite their valiant effort, the Roosters just couldn't quite pull off a win in their exciting match against the Bulldogs at Henson Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs took an early lead as the Roosters struggled to find their rhythm after their brief hiatus.

With the Bulldogs holding a 16-6 lead at halftime, it was winger Tyreece Tait's late try that gave the Roosters a glimmer of hope as they headed into the second half.

The Roosters made a late push, but ultimately fell short in a heart-wrenching defeat against the Bulldogs.

Despite the loss, the Roosters showed great determination and spirit on the field.
