EXCLUSIVE: An exciting young talent from The Dolphins is on the verge of signing with one of the club's major rivals, marking a potential significant acquisition.

This dynamic back-rower, Walsh, is considered one of the club's most promising forwards and was included in the Top 30 roster during the 2025 NRL season. He has already developed an impressive highlight reel showcasing his exceptional ball-running abilities alongside his solid defensive contributions.

Despite not having played a single first-grade match yet, the Lismore-born player, who is also capable of playing in the centres, has made 30 appearances in the QLD Cup for the Redcliffe Dolphins. More than half of those games occurred during the current season.

In his 16 matches this year, he notched up eight tries, recorded ten line-breaks, and contributed four line-break assists. He also completed over 230 tackles with an efficiency rate of 83.7 per cent, while averaging nearly 100 running metres per game.
