Zak Hardaker, a seasoned player with a diverse career, is set to join the York Knights for the 2027 English Super League season.
The 34-year-old will reinforce the Knights' squad alongside Cameron McInnes and potentially Blake Lawrie.
Reports suggest that Hardaker has signed a two-year deal with the club, as confirmed by Love Rugby League, marking another chapter in his impressive journey which includes three Super League titles and two Challenge Cup victories.
His professional debut occurred in 2010 with the Featherstone Rovers, leading to a total of 397 games played.
Hardaker's most notable stints include significant time at the Leeds Rhinos, where he participated in 173 matches across two periods from 2011 to 2016 and again in 2022.
He is also recognized for his brief tenure with the Penrith Panthers in 2016, which involved an exchange deal with player James Segeyaro.
Over the years, Hardaker has played for several clubs, including the Castleford Tigers, Wigan Warriors, Leigh Leopards, and most recently, Hull FC, where he featured in 30 games since 2025.
Throughout his career, he has amassed 150 tries and 353 goals.
In terms of international representation, Hardaker has appeared in two Tests for Great Britain in 2019 and seven for England between 2012 and 2015.
