'The look' that proves Yeo is ready to lead Kangaroos' Ashes quest

Lindsay Collins refers to it as 'the look'-a familiar expression experienced by many at some point in life. It's that telling gaze from parents when you've disappointed them.

This time, however, the look comes from the Australian captain, fittingly assuming the role of a father figure within the Kangaroos camp.

Yeo previously served as vice-captain during the Kangaroos' surprising 30-0 defeat against New Zealand in the 2023 Pacific Championships final. Collins vividly recalls the moment he glanced over to see Yeo's reaction as the match unfolded poorly.

Yeo matured quickly after leaving Dubbo to pursue his rugby league aspirations in Sydney as a teenager. As the son of former Balmain Tiger Justin Yeo, Isaah soon became a pivotal player during Penrith's 2013 Holden Cup premiership. His NRL journey commenced in 2014, where he rapidly established himself as a leader within the Panthers at a young age.
