The North Queensland Cowboys have made an exciting addition to their coaching staff for the 2024 season, bringing in experienced assistant coach Justin Morgan.
The announcement was made on the official Cowboys website, cowboys.com.au.
Morgan, who had a successful playing career as a talented forward, appeared in 133 games over nine seasons for the Eels, Raiders, and Warriors.
He also had the honor of representing Wales at the international level.
However, it is as a coach that Morgan has truly made a name for himself.
He gained recognition in the UK for leading the Hull Kingston Rovers to promotion to the Super League in 2006.
During his seven-season tenure at the Rovers, Morgan's teams achieved an impressive record of 99 wins out of 178 games.
This success caught the attention of the NRL, where Morgan has since served as an assistant coach for the Raiders, Storm, and most recently the Warriors.
Now, Morgan will bring his wealth of experience and expertise to the North Queensland Cowboys, joining Todd Payten's coaching staff in 2024.
This addition is sure to enhance the team's coaching capabilities and contribute to their continued success in the league.
