'We played a ripper style of footy': Woolf reflects on Knock-On Effect NSW Cup year
Despite only dropping two matches in their last nine games, Ben Woolf's Knock-On Effect NSW Cup Dragons narrowly missed out on a spot in the postseason.
Woolf was pleased with his team's determination, progress, and brand of rugby league throughout the season, which saw a bunch of young guns emerge as stars by the end of it.
Out of the 40 players who got a run throughout the year, eight were bumped up from Jersey Flegg with five of them starting off in SG Ball.
Six lads from Woolf's starting lineup in Round 1 managed to crack into the NRL squad at some point during the season - a real testament to the top-notch preparation their coaching crew had them primed for.
