Stars pledge allegiance to Fetu Samoa for Pacific Championships campaign

Fetu Samoa's coach, Jamie Soward, has announced a positive shift as an increasing number of female players commit to representing the Pacific nation.

Soward has introduced a skilled lineup for the upcoming Pacific Championships, with Annetta-Claudia Nu'uausala set to captain the team during matchups against New Zealand and Australia.

Sienna Lofipo, initially earmarked for the Jillaroos, will join the squad, and Soward expressed his excitement over women choosing to follow in the footsteps of male players by opting to play for Samoa.

The campaign for Fetu Samoa will commence against New Zealand on Sunday, October 19, at Go Media Stadium, before taking on the Jillaroos at Suncorp Stadium on October 26.
