George Williams has committed to playing with Warrington through the 2025 season, but he has not ruled out a return to the NRL afterward.
Reports suggest that several NRL clubs are interested in him, making a return to Australia a realistic option.
Following Warrington's recent 24-10 victory against Hull FC, Williams spoke to Sky Sports and acknowledged the speculation surrounding his potential NRL comeback.
While he affirmed his immediate loyalty to the Wolves, he also recognized the temptation of trying to complete what he started in the NRL.
"There has been a lot of talk within the week, but there is nothing major to it," he stated.
"There is a little bit of interest [from NRL] and I would be stupid not to listen to it.
At 30, it's now or never.
I have to think about whether it's an itch I want to scratch."
