In his whirlwind rookie season, Will Warbrick burst onto the NRL scene with remarkable style.
The former Rugby 7's silver medal winner wasted no time in making an impact, scoring his first try for the Melbourne Storm in Round 4 against the Wests Tigers at AAMI Park.
But it was in Round 16 when Warbrick truly made his mark, scoring an impressive four tries against the Tigers.
His outstanding performances earned him the title of Melbourne Storm's Rookie and Back of the Year.
With a total of 17 tries, he topped the Storm's tryscoring charts, narrowly beating Xavier Coates' tally of 16.
Warbrick's most memorable moment came in the Semi Final against the Sydney Roosters, where he scored a clutch last-gasp try to secure a victory for the Storm.
Warbrick showcased his exceptional athletic ability throughout the season, recording 67 tackle breaks and 20 linebreaks.
He also stood out as one of the top interceptors in the NRL, tying for second place with four interceptions.
However, he proved that he wasn't just about flashiness, as he ran for the second highest number of metres in the club with a total of 3,297 metres.
Additionally, he matched the highest post-contact metres gained for the Storm in 2023.
To top off his incredible season, Warbrick earned a spot in the New Zealand A squad that faced Tonga A at Eden Park on October 21.
With such a strong debut year, it's clear that Warbrick has a promising future ahead in the world of Rugby League.
