Salford Red Devils have secured the services of Australian back-rower Shane Wright for another three years, in a deal that will see him remain with the Super League side.
Despite being plagued by hamstring and ankle injuries, the 27-year-old has managed to play 24 games and score six tries since joining the club in 2022.
Prior to his time at Salford, Wright had an impressive career, making 41 National Rugby League appearances for the North Queensland Cowboys and featuring in 34 Queensland Cup games for the Mackay Cutters.
Expressing his excitement about the club's future, Wright stated, "We have a good group at the moment.
The club is heading in the right direction, which I am excited to continue being a part of." With this new deal, Salford Red Devils are looking to build on their recent successes and continue their upward trajectory in the Super League.
