Roosters star Isabelle Kelly is confident that her injured teammate Jess Sergis will make a timely return for the NRLW finals, as the team grapples with a growing list of injured players that could potentially jeopardize their chances at the premiership.

According to a report on the Roosters' official website, Sergis recently underwent surgery to repair a fractured finger sustained during a try-scoring maneuver in their victory over the Eels.

Although the hope is that the New South Wales and Jillaroos center will be able to recover in the next few weeks, her absence leaves the team with a significant number of key players on the sidelines.

This injury setback comes just before a crucial top-of-the-table clash against Newcastle, adding further pressure on the Roosters to perform without their full squad.

Despite the challenges they face, the Roosters remain determined to overcome their injury toll and emerge victorious in their upcoming match.
