The Penrith Panthers are looking to make history once again as they enter the 2024 Rugby League season as the back-to-back-to-back premiers.

Losing key players Stephen Crichton and Spencer Leniu is a blow, but the depth in their squad suggests that a fourth consecutive title is within reach.

NRL.com predicts that the Panthers will start their season strong, especially with the departure of Jarome Luai motivating their teammates to send him off as a winner.

Led by the likes of Nathan Cleary and Isaah Yeo, the team has the firepower to secure a top-four finish once again.

The Panthers have been dominant in recent years, winning an impressive 68 out of their last 82 games since 2021.

They have shown resilience in overcoming challenges such as the mid-season Origin drain and injuries.

Facing tough opposition in their opening rounds, including the Storm, Eels, and Broncos, the Panthers will face an early test of their credentials.

However, with coach Ivan Cleary conducting the band from the coach's box and their star players leading the charge, the Panthers have a strong self-belief that they can achieve another slice of history by becoming the first team since the legendary St George side of the 1950s and 60s to win four premierships in a row.
